People who have Weber barbecue grills know this - that every time we purchase any model of Weber grills, there is a free cookbook that goes with it. But aside from the cookbooks that come with every grill purchased, there are also other cookbooks from Weber Grills which may be bought in bookstores. Let's take a look at a couple of Weber grilling books that we, barbecue lovers, would love to own.

The "Weber's Real Grilling: Over 200 Original Recipes," by Jamie Purviance is one of the Weber grilling books that is highly recommended. From the title itself, we would know that this book contains several recipes for grilling. However, what makes this book different from the other Weber grilling books available is that the procedures are lengthily explained, allowing readers to understand the recipes better. This, of course, will allow readers to prepare food in a more accurate manner. Despite the fact that Weber Grills is one of the publishers of this book, it does not mention specific brands as a form of endorsement. It is also a credible book because Purviance is a well-known writer who graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. Among the recipes included in this Weber grilling book are those for vegetables, fish, poultry, pork, and red meat. The other publisher of this book is Oxmoor House. With 304 pages, this costs US.95 but there are bookstores that offer it at a discount.

The "Weber's Art of the Grill: Recipes for Outdoor Living," by Jamie Purviance, Tim Turner, and Mike Kempster is also a well-recommended book for grilling. Its original price is US.00 but we may find discounted copies for as low as US.40, which is not bad for a hard-bound book. It of course includes recipes for vegetables, seafood, chicken, and meats but what makes it different from the other cookbooks is that it also teaches us various ways of cooking. For example, it teaches us how to cook directly and indirectly, and it suggests which sauces should be applied to the foods that would be grilled. Among the sauces mentioned in this Weber grilling book are hot pepper vinegar sauce, Dijon wine sauce, and honey-gingered peach sauce. Reading this book is a lot of fun as it suggests recipes for grilled desserts as well. The co-publisher of Weber Grills for this book is Chronicle Books. Released in bookstores on March 1, 1999, this Weber grilling book features 208 pages with dimensions of 10.1 inches x 9.1 inches x 1 inch. This book should not be compared with "Weber's Real Grilling: Over 200 Original Recipes" because authors made sure that the former has its own style. While we will enjoy reading "Weber's Real Grilling: Over 200 Original Recipes," we will also have fun reading "Weber's Art of the Grill: Recipes for Outdoor Living" because the recipes are very easy to follow.

Why not grab a copy of any of these Weber grilling books? Getting ideas from these books will certainly make grilling more exciting and enjoyable.

Infrared Barbecue Gas Grills

!±8± Infrared Barbecue Gas Grills

Grilling outside has always been thought of as a traditional American hobby. However, there is a growing trend that is revolutionizing how we barbecue our food. Infrared gas grill reviews have revealed the new technology people are using now, because it is said to add more flavor to the food.

Unlike charcoal grills, infrared bbq gas grills are all designed to be set up and used in only a few minutes. Also, the actual cook-up of the food is lessened significantly. When it comes to flavor, infrared grilling provides a direct source of heat to the food and thus permits the natural flavor to simmer more than grilling with charcoal.

Since intense direct heat is applied all throughout the grill, the food is allowed to cook evenly instead of overcooking or under cooking portions of the food. Also, when grilling with charcoal or gas grills, you also should supervise it constantly and be on the look-out for stain flare-ups. Infrared bbq grilling does not permit heat inside so there are no accidents of flare-ups.

However, if you are thinking of buying infrared grills, you should take note of the difference between gas grills and infrared grills. They are both fueled by gas but the difference is on the source of heat.

Reviews of infrared gas barbecues say they have ceramic tops with their source of heat hidden. A benefit of the infrared grill is the intensive heat that it can produce on the cooking grid. However, you cannot control the temperature for a lower heat source.

Generally, infrared grills are more efficient to use, more dependable, and add flavor. If you find it pleasurable to grill outdoors, then you need to try infrared grilling.
